Excitement is building for the upcoming sixth annual Waves & Wishes 5K Run/Walk, presented by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina.  The event will take place on Saturday, September 25th, 2010, at the base of the Edwin S. Taylor fishing pier on Folly Beach.  The course is a certified 5K that covers flat and fast roads adjacent to the beach.

Last year we raised more than $30,000 and attracted over 500 participants!  I am pleased to invite you to be a part of this year's event along with the opportunity to partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina to contribute to the success of Waves & Wishes 2010!

“Sports massages will be available on site, $1/per minute, with all proceeds benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation of SC.  Certified therapists, Ela Haynsworth and Frances Werle-Smith, are donating their time to help raise funds for the Foundation.  They are also available for private neuromuscular and orthopedic massage appointments.
